Embodied Movement

Private Training

movement matters

The way you move reflects the habits of your mind. Through functional movement—climbing, jumping, carrying, balancing, and more—you can rediscover movement as something intuitive and empowering. Doing these movements aren’t just exercise; they reflect how you relate to yourself and the world around you. My focus is on helping you build sustainable fitness practices that support real-world strength, mobility, and coordination—so you can move through life with more ease and confidence.

Essential Strength

Fridays @ 12:30pm

Where functional strength and mindfulness align with purpose. More than just working out, this class invites you to move efficiently, the way life asks you to. Climb, lift, carry, jump, and navigate your world with confidence. Build strength that follows you, from the gym to the great outdoors (or just wrangling the groceries in one trip).

Modalities

As a former competitive bodybuilder turned Hatha yoga teacher and restorative exercise specialist, I’ve experienced firsthand the transformative power of sustainable and embodied movement. I have found this approach foundational in successfully adapting my daily practice to a busy life, especially now in my 50s. Moving well and moving strong enriches everything else that I do.

My coaching incorporates functional fitness, strength training, principles of yoga, and corrective exercise. My approach is designed to support your body, nurture your mind, and help you move through life with purpose and joy.
